Intro to Sailing

This short course with ample boat time is designed for students brand new to sailing or who haven’t sailed in a while and would like a quick refresher. Learn the basics of sailing and get a taste of working together as a crew to sail around the beautiful Pensacola Bay! At the end of this course students will feel comfortable moving safely around a sailboat and assisting the skipper as a member of their crew. We highly recommend this course as a way to “test the waters” prior to taking Fundamentals.

Once the full course is completed, students are offered two additional supervised sails skippered by the student with an instructor onboard to help build confidence in their sailing skills. Upon successful completion of both supervised sails, students will receive a “Satori Certification” card for discounted rental fees on approved sailboats in our rental fleet.
